We booked a last minute week at the end of last September (2022) and were delighted by the cottages location and decor. We have stayed at various cottages in Polperro over the years, but I can honestly say that our week spent at Harbourside was the best yet! It was handy to have a reserved space for the car a few minutes walk away, but to be honest we only used it twice. Being right in the centre of things, the coastal footpath yards away and our favourite pub "The Blue Peter" just behind , we spent most of the week pottering about the local shops and pubs or walking the coastal footpath with our dog. The roof terrace off the living room is a fantastic place to sit and read a book , people watch or gaze out over the harbour. Would dearly love to stay again.
We had a lovely stay early October. 2019. Didn't leave the village. So many things to see and do. Wonderful walks. We managed to have a few times that we were able to sit on the balcony, in between showers. Watching the world go by. Being so close to the Blue Peter Inn, we had lots of lovely meals there. Entertainment too lovely.
The cottage cosy and comfortable. Everything you need for your stay. Comfy beds too. A very warm atmosphere to the cottage. Lots of things to see from the amazing windows. Ideal for painting and drawing.
I think the only thing I could complain about...was our holiday wasn't long enough to enjoy the lovely cottage and village more. So much more to see. We will be back.
My wife and I had the great pleasure of staying here in June this year. This cottage cannot be beaten for location or facilities. If the weather is fine the balcony is a joy to sit back and watch the world go by. Polperro itself is a great little place to lay back and enjoy. We were lucky enough to catch the end of the Polperro festival and the atmosphere throughout the whole village was fantastic. There are many good pubs and restaurants here as well. Treat yourself to a drink and meal at the Three Pilchards which has by far the best of both in Polperro and a warm welcome is always there from the staff. Stay here at Harbourside and relax, enjoy and recharge your batteries. We will return again there is no doubt about that.

The location of the cottage is unbeatable, right on the quay surrounded by Bars & Restaurants. The cottage itself is an absolute dream. It is decorated very tastefully in a seaside / nautical theme with every consideration for the visitors comfort. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into their property before renting it out.
I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a comfortable relaxing stay in possibly one of Cornwall`s prettiest fishing villages.
The cottage was very nicely decorated throughout and very comfortable. The outside balcony was great, and would be lovely to sit out in better weather. I enjoyed sitting on the window seat in the lounge and watching the tide come in. it was also amazing to wake up with the harbour view. Polperro is a rare jewel in Cornwall's crown. We have been going for 16 years and it never disappoints what ever the weather. We hope to continue going for the next 16 and have re booked Harbourside again for later in the year.
Perfect cottage for our stay in Polperro. Situated right on the harbour it has lovely views and is in a great position to access coastal walks and the pubs, restaurants and shops. The cottage is very comfortable and tastefully decorated.It has all the facilities needed for a holiday stay. I would recommend to all my friends as would my spaniel Lucy who had a great time. We will be back next year!!!
